1. Purpose of Space Review
Space review is an essential process to ensure guests receive reliable information and to maintain quality across the platform. All space details submitted by hosts must be reviewed and approved by our team before they can be listed.
2. Space Review Process
1) The host completes STEP 1–3 and submits the space for review.
2) Our team reviews the submission within 5 working days.
3) A notice of approval or request for revision is sent.
4) If revisions are needed, the host should make the necessary updates and resubmit.
5) Once approved, the space will be listed for booking.
3. Space Review Criteria
1) Verification of the Space’s Actual Existence
Virtual, non-existent, or digitally altered spaces cannot be approved.
- Photos that are unclear, dark, or don’t appear to be genuine may lead to rejection.
- The exact, real address must be provided; false addresses will be rejected. If the map location doesn’t match the address given, we may ask you to update it.
2) Commercial Use Eligibility
The space must comply with legal and building use regulations. Spaces intended for private use only cannot be listed.
3) Verification of Ownership and Operating Rights
Spaces owned by others or listed without permission to rent will not be approved. Only spaces you personally manage or have the right to rent can be listed. If a space is owned by a thired party is listed without their permission, our team may remove the listing or limit its use.
4) Restriction on Accommodation-Only Spaces
Our platform does not facilitate accommodation bookings, so spaces intended for overnight stays (e.g., guesthouses, dormitory, Airbnb) cannot be listed.
- Spaces displaying images centred on beds, bedding, or accommodation settings will not be approved.
- Phrases such as ‘overnight stays accepted’ are not permitted.
5) Compliance with Service Policies
Spaces containing false information, copyrighted images, offensive language, or discriminatory content will be rejected
6) Space Type Review
We review the selected space type to ensure it matches how the space is actually used, helping guests find suitable spaces more easily and accurately.
Only one space type can be selected per listing on SpaceCloud. If you’d like your space to appear under an additional type, you can use the [Add Space Type] feature.
