We’d like to guide you on how to book a space and track your bookings on SpaceCloud. Everything can be done online, keeping the process simple and convenient.
1. How to Book a Space
Found a space you like? Booking is easy—simply choose your preferred time and number of guests on the space’s page, then click the booking button to proceed.
2. Hourly or Package Booking
The booking method is set by the host, allowing you to choose between hourly and package options.
Hourly: Book for exactly the amount of time you need.
Package: Book a pre-set block of time at a fixed price, as determined by the host.
💡The price shown on the space page is the standard rate. The final amount may vary based on your booking details, such as the number of guests, date, or add-ons. The final price will be displayed in the payment link.
3. Instant or Approval Booking
Instant Booking: Guests can book a space starting from one hour in advance. The booking is confirmed instantly upon payment, with no host approval required.
Example: If it's 9:10, a guest can book a space for 10:30 on the same day.
Approval Booking: Guests can request a booking at least seven hours in advance. The booking is confirmed once the host approves the request and the guest completes payment.
Example: A guest can request a booking for 4:30 PM if it's currently 9:10 AM.
- If a host doesn’t approve a request within three hours, the request will be automatically cancelled.
- If the guest doesn't complete the payment within three hours after approval, the booking will be automatically canceled.
💡 Once the payment is completed, the booking details cannot be changed. If any changes are required, you will need to cancel the existing booking and make a new one.
4. Check the Booking Status
SpaceCloud uses the following terms to show the status of a booking:
- Pending: Awaiting host approval of the guest's request.
- Payment Due: Awaiting payment from the guest after host approval.
- Confirmed: The booking is confirmed after payment.
- Completed: The guest has used the space.
- Cancelling: The guest's cancellation request is being processed.
- Cancelled: The cancellation is complete.
5. Communicating with hosts
You can contact hosts before or after booking a space using the messaging feature.
6. No-Show Policy
If a guest does not show up for their booking, no refund will be issued, and the booking will be marked as "Completed."
7. Important Notes
All bookings must be managed within the SpaceCloud system, as these records are the basis for payouts and dispute resolution. Bookings made outside the platform are not protected.
