How to Set Add-ons

1. What are Add-ons?

Add-ons are extra services that guests can pay for and use when they book your space. This can include things like equipment rentals, catering, drinks, or staff support.

 

Important Notes
• You can't add items that are already included with the space (like Wi-Fi or chairs) as add-ons.
• Add mandatory fees in the 'Add Mandatory Fee' section, not as an add-on.
• If a service requires legal qualifications or permits (like serving alcohol), you are fully responsible if you don't have the proper qualifications.

 

2. Benefits of Adding Add-ons

1) Earn Extra Income
By offering services guests need, you can easily increase your revenue beyond just renting the space.

Example: A party venue can add a catering service, so guests don't have to worry about preparing food.

2) Stand Out and Attract More Guests
Offering unique add-ons can make your space more appealing, giving guests a great reason to choose you.
Example: A photo studio can add professional staff support, making it easy for less-experienced guests to book the space.

3) Provide More Convenience
Guests can book your space and all the services they need at the same time, which makes their experience much better.
Example: A meeting room can add a drink and snack package, allowing guests to use it right away without placing a separate order.

 

3. What Kind of Add-ons Can You Offer?

Think about what your guests might need and add services that fit your space. Here are some popular examples:

• Equipment Rental: Microphones, speakers, projectors, cameras, lighting, sports equipment, etc.
• Food & Drinks: Catering, beverage packages, coffee service, etc.
• Staff Support: Event staff, professional photographers, hair/makeup services, interpreters, cleaning services, etc.
• Furniture/Props: Extra chairs, tables, party supplies, etc.

4. How to Add Add-ons

You can add add-ons in STEP 2 when you list a space.

 

If your space is already approved, go to the [Spaces] menu, find your space, and select the [Add-on] option on the right side.

 

• Add-on Name
  Use a name that's easy for guests to understand.
  
  
• Add-on Description
  Be specific about what's included and how the service works so guests know exactly what they're getting.
  
  
• Add-on Pricing (Fixed Price / Per 30 Minutes)
  Fixed Price: The fee is the same no matter how long the guest uses it.
  Per 30 Minutes: The price is calculated in 30-minute increments based on the booking time.

* Guest service fees apply to add-on services, such as equipment hire or catering.

• Add-on Quantity (Optional)
  Enter a maximum quantity if you have one. If you leave this blank, guests can only select one.
  
  
• Add-on Image (Optional)
  Add a photo if you want to give guests a visual idea of the service.
